By looking at the development and needs of the community and increasing their participation In educating the life of the nation, which in its initial establishment in 1996 Establishing Diploma III Education Program Academy of Information and Computer Management (AMIK) Mitra Lampung and Diploma Education Program 1 Computer Education Institution (LPK) Mitra Lampung later in 1999 added another education program Diploma III in the Economy, namely the Academy of Accounting and Management (A2M) Mitra Lampung and in 2001 Mitra Lampung Foundation added two educational programs Strata 1 is the College of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) Mitra Lampung and Mitra Lampung College of Economics (STIE) and in 2004 Plus the Strata 1 education program in the health sector, namely the College of Sciences Health (STIKES) Mitra Lampung.

As the form changes, A2M Mitra Lampung changed to a faculty called the Faculty of Business University of Mitra Indonesia with a Bachelor Study Program (S1), namely PS Accounting (S1), PS Management (S1), PS entrepreneurship (S1), and program Vocational (D3) namely PS Industrial Management and PS Accounting.
