PROFILE

The Community Health Masters Study Program is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Health of Mitra Indonesia University, which was previously under the STIKES Mitra Lampung which was established in 2009 based on the Ministry of Education and Culture Decree Number 158/D/T/2009 which was later in June 2018 STIKES Mitra Lampung Joining STIE Mitra Lampung, STMIK Mitra Lampung, Amik Mitra Lampung, A2M Mitra Lampung changed to the Indonesian Mitra University which is under the auspices of the Lampung Mitra Foundation based on the Decree of the Ministry of Research and Technology Dikti RI Number 518/KPT/I/2018. Furthermore, the Community Health Masters Study Program is under the management of the Faculty of Health of Mitra Indonesia University which aims to create superior resources in the application of science and technology in the field of health that is technopreneur and based on partnerships and participate in educating Indonesian people.

Knowledge Mastery (P)

  1. Have basic mastery/principles of public health at the level of analysis and evaluation that are instruments in improving public health as high as possible, including knowledge related to epidemiology, biostatistics, and population, administration/management, and health policies, as well as social science and behavior with consider the function of the essential public.
  2. Having the basic mastery/principle of public health science at the level of analysis and evaluation which is a substance in improving public health as high as possible, including knowledge related to environmental health including occupational safety and health, nutritional science, and reproductive health by considering the function of the essential public.

General Skills (KU)

  1. Able to develop logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking through scientific research, design creation, or works of art in the fields of science and technology;
  2. Pay attention to and apply the value of humanities in accordance with their fields of expertise, compile scientific conceptions and the results of studies based on the rules, procedures, and scientific ethics in the form of the thesis or other equivalent forms, and uploaded in the Higher Education page, as well as papers that have been published in an accredited scientific journal or accepted in international journals;
  3. Able to carry out academic validation or study according to their field of expertise in solving problems in society or relevant industries through the development of knowledge and expertise;
  4. Able to compile ideas, the results of thought, and scientific arguments in a responsible and based on academic ethics, and communicate them through the media to the academic community and the wider community;
  5. Able to identify the scientific field that is the object of his research and positions into a research map developed through an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approach;
  6. Able to make decisions in the context of resolving problems in the development of science and technology that pay attention and apply humanities based on analysis or experimental studies on information and data.

Special Skills (KK)

  1. Able to develop knowledge of public health science and utilize the study of epidemiology, biostatistics, management, and behavior as a method and tool to examine environmental factors including work environment, and socio -cultural factors of health through research, to produce innovative and tested works.
  2. Able to solve health problems using public health science through inter and multi -disciplined approaches to be able to plan, implement, and evaluate primary, secondary and tertiary health service programs.
  3. Able to manage research in interviews and multi -discipline that is beneficial for the community and scholarship to get national and international recognition.
  4. Able to communicate work results and be responsible for their own work to be given responsibility for achieving work results in primary and secondary health service organizations.
  5. Able to analyze and evaluate the principles of financial management in public and skilled health planning in management in the field of public health at the level of programs in primary and secondary health services with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
  6. Able to analyze and evaluate leadership and thinking systems in the field of public health at the level of programs in primary and secondary health services with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
  7. Able to identify local culture in promotive and preventive programs in the field of public health.
  8. Able to analyze and evaluate community empowerment programs in promotive and preventive activities in the field of public health.
  9. Able to provide alternative solutions to community health problems based on science and technology (science and technology), entrepreneurship, and partnerships.
  10. Able to manage health programs using public health sciences based on science and technology (science and technology), entrepreneurship, and partnerships.
  11. Able to manage public health programs with a promotive and preventive approach that prioritizes appropriate technology.

  1. Carry out education, teaching and training in accordance with science and technology and entrepreneurship in the field of public health.

  3. Carry out community service in the field of public health.
  4. Developing partnerships in the field of public health and increasing the capacity of resources and management of the Masters of Public Health Study Program to support the implementation of Tridharma Higher Education.
