The S1-Information Study Program was established on April 10, 2001 under the auspices of the College of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) Mitra Lampung based on the Decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 32/D/O/2001. In 2018 STMIK Mitra Lampung switched to the form of Mitra Indonesia University based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 518/KPT/I/2018 concerning Permit to Merger the College of Health Sciences Mitra Lampung in Bandar Lampung City, College of Sciences Lampung Mitra Economy in Bandar Lampung City, College of Information and Computer Management and Computer Mitra Lampung in Bandar Lampung City, Informatics and Computer Management Academy Mitra Lampung in Bandar Lampung City, Accounting and Management Academy of Lampung Mitra in Bandar Lampung City became Mitra Indonesia University in Bandar City Lampung organized by Mitra Lampung Foundation in Bandar Lampung City. Based on BAN-PT Decree No. 2503/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/VII/2019 states that the S1-System Information Study Program, at the Bachelor of Mitra Indonesia University, Bandar Lampung City is accredited with an accredited rank B dated July 17, 2019.
