Metro . Mitra Indonesia University (Umitra) in collaboration with the Metro City Women's Organization Association (GOW) held an entrepreneurial workshop at the Metro City Government Hall Jl. AH Nasution Metro City, Saturday (05/31/2025).

 

Advisor of GOW City Metro Hj. Eni Sumiyati Bambang S. IP expressed gratitude and pride for the implementation of the Worshop event held by the Lampung Umitra in collaboration with the Metro City GOW.

 

With the Worshop Add Eni, it has the purpose of strengthening the brotherhood and enhancing knowledge and skills together

 

 

"I hope that through this Worshop it can gain a deep understanding of the role of MSME entrepreneurs in facing the challenges of the current era," he explained.

 

Eni also hopes that with the Worshop, hopefully it can be a useful means of learning, sharing, and growing together.

 

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Umitra for sharing knowledge.

 

"Hopefully in the following moments the Umitra and GOW can collaborate to work together to fill development, especially non-physical in the city of Metro in order to educate and prosper the community," he concluded

 

Chairperson of the Committee Dr. Apt. Megasari, SE., MM said that Worshop activities were held by the Umitra in collaboration with the Metro City GOW and the PPPAPP & KB Metro Office, with the theme of developing innovative products and value propositions for local Metro City MSMEs.

 

"Entrepreneurship workshop activities are carried out in order to empower the community in the economic field, especially MSMEs in Metro City with a total of 75 participants of Metro City MSME entrepreneurs," he said.

 

Megasari hopes that this entrepreneurial workshop can increase knowledge and insight for MSME entrepreneurs in trying, so as to be able to help in supporting the family's economy.

 

"I hope that with the collaboration between the Umitra and the Metro City GOW which is very useful symbiosis, mutualism that is mutually beneficial and beneficial for the community, especially MSMEs in Metro City to be sustainable," said Megasari.

 

Chairman of the Umitra Entrepreneurship Study Program Ir. Umar Bakti, M.M expressed his appreciation for the Metro City GOW for the implementation of the Worshop event on entrepreneurship for MSMEs in Metro City.

 

"Hopefully the implementation of Worshop for MSMEs is expected to provide inspiration and motivation and benefits for the development of MSMEs in Metro City," he said

 

Meanwhile the speakers in the workshop, Dr. Astrid Africa Isabela, SE. M. M who is a lecturer in the Faculty of Business Umitra in providing material to convey the perpetrators of MSMEs in conducting an effort needs to do several things, namely praying, tawakal, endeavor, focus and serious.

 

Eleh Astrid said that currently business competition is very tight, therefore MSME actors are required to continue to be creative and innovative so as not to sink into market competition.

 

"The rapid development of business certainly creates very tight competition as well, without exception including in the MSME sector. Every day, new business people have sprung up with their product innovation. In addition, the presence of online businesses also helps help new businesses, so this needs to be addressed by MSME actors to be able to follow business developments through social media," he concluded.
